Arabic Night Club in Dubai: Thursday to Saturday at Sugar Club

Three nights a week, Sugar Lounge & Club becomes an Arabic night club in Dubai. From Thursday to Saturday our DJs play the music that fills Arab weddings, road trips and family gatherings, turned up for a club sound system: Khaleeji dance tracks, Levantine pop, Egyptian classics and the new hits everyone is sharing on social media. Tables stand up for the chorus, the dance floor sings louder than the speakers, and the shisha keeps going until closing. These are our busiest nights of the week, and the reason many guests make Sugar Club their weekend home.

Thursday: Arabic International Night

Thursday opens the weekend with a mix. The DJ alternates between Arabic hits and international club music, so a group with different tastes can all find their song. It is the best night for mixed groups of friends, colleagues celebrating the end of the working week and visitors who are curious about Arabic nightlife but want some familiar tracks too. The energy builds steadily, and by late evening the Arabic songs usually take over as the crowd asks for more.

Friday and Saturday: full Arabic nights

Friday and Saturday go all in. Expect Khaleeji anthems from across the Gulf, Lebanese and Syrian dance-pop, Egyptian favourites, Iraqi and Moroccan hits, and dabke moments when the whole room links arms.  The crowd is largely Arab, from across the GCC, the Levant and North Africa, alongside residents of every nationality who love the atmosphere. Dress up a little, book a table and expect to stay late.

Your first Arabic night: what to expect

If you have never been to an Arabic night, expect it to feel more like a celebration than a typical club night. Groups arrive together, often dressed up, and the night revolves around tables rather than the bar. When a favourite song comes on, whole tables stand and sing; when a dabke track plays, people link arms and dance in a line. You do not need to speak Arabic to enjoy it. The melodies are catchy, the crowd is welcoming, and by the second hour most first-timers are on their feet.

A typical Saturday at Sugar Club

Saturday starts in the lounge. Tables arrive, shishas are lit and the DJ plays well-known Arabic pop at a comfortable volume. As the room fills, the music moves into dance tracks and Khaleeji anthems, and the first tables get up to dance. By the middle of the night the whole venue is singing. Birthday and engagement tables get their shout-outs, sparklers light up the room and the energy stays high until the last song, usually a classic everyone knows.

Early: lounge & shisha

Well-known Arabic pop at a comfortable volume.

Later: Khaleeji anthems

Dance tracks, and the first tables get up.

Late: the whole room sings

Shout-outs, sparklers and a classic to close.

Weekend tables

VIP tables on Arabic nights

Arabic nights are made for tables. Groups settle in with shisha and bottle service, and the table becomes the centre of the night. Because these are our busiest nights, we recommend booking several days ahead, and earlier for public holidays and Eid weekends. Choose from tables near the dance floor or in the lounge; minimum spends vary by night and table size [confirm]. Book through our VIP table booking in Dubai page or on WhatsApp at +971 52 511 3138.

Celebrations and private groups

Engagements, birthdays, graduations and family friends visiting from abroad: Arabic nights are when many of our guests celebrate. We can arrange a cake moment, a dedication from the DJ in Arabic or English, and a reserved section for larger groups. For corporate groups or private celebrations, our private party venue in Dubai page explains how we host bigger events.

Shisha and the Arabic night atmosphere

An Arabic night is not complete without shisha, and our lounge serves it all night. Choose classic double apple or mint, or ask your host for premium blends. Many tables keep a shisha going from the first song to the last. The mix of music, shisha and conversation is what makes these nights feel closer to a celebration than a typical club night.

Where our Arabic night guests come from

Our weekend crowd comes from across the city: Al Barsha and Barsha Heights next door, villa communities in Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim, apartments in Downtown Dubai and Business Bay, and residents of Mirdif and Deira. Being just off Sheikh Zayed Road makes us a short trip from almost every part of the city.

Arabic nights for visitors from the GCC

Many of our weekend guests are visiting Dubai from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman. Al Barsha is a natural base, with hotels and serviced apartments around Mall of the Emirates and along Sheikh Zayed Road. If you are staying nearby, you can reach us in a few minutes by taxi. Our team speaks Arabic and English , and can help with table bookings, celebrations and late taxis back to your hotel.

Before and after the weekend

The night before Thursday is our Wednesday hip hop night, and the weekend ends on Sunday with our Afrobeats night in Dubai. The whole schedule is on What's On, and the venue overview is on our night club in Al Barsha homepage.
