When you search for a night club near me in Dubai, distance matters, but so does the journey. A club ten minutes away on Sheikh Zayed Road can be easier to reach than one three kilometres away across a busy junction. Sugar Lounge & Club sits in Al Barsha 1, inside Montreal Barsha Hotel behind Mall of the Emirates, at one of the best-connected points in the city. Most of Dubai’s residential and hotel districts are within a 10 to 30 minute drive.
Below you will find our guides for 30 neighbourhoods, grouped by distance. Each guide covers the best route, nearest metro options, how long a taxi takes at night and which of our weekly club nights suits that area’s crowd.
Closest to the club
These areas are close enough for a quick taxi, and some are within walking distance.

The middle ground
Dubai has nightlife in many districts, but many venues are either tourist-priced superclubs or small hotel bars with a playlist on repeat. Sugar Club sits in between: a full club with resident DJs, a different theme every night, VIP tables and shisha, at Al Barsha prices. Because we are directly off Sheikh Zayed Road, the trip from the Marina side and the Downtown side takes roughly the same time, which makes us a fair meeting point for groups coming from different parts of the city.
Big names and big bills, often far from where you live.
A playlist on repeat and little reason to stay past one drink.
