Everyone says Dubai sleeps on a Monday. We disagree. Every Monday, Sugar Lounge & Club in Al Barsha turns the quietest night of the week into the city’s best-kept party: a drinks and shisha deal, a DJ who builds the room from the first song to the last, and a crowd that came to have fun, not to be seen. If you searched “what to do on Monday night in Dubai” and landed here, this is your answer. You don’t need to know anyone and you don’t need to be on anyone’s list. Message us on WhatsApp, tell us you’re new, and we’ll put your name down.
Most big Dubai clubs save their energy for Thursday to Saturday, so finding a nightclub open on Monday night can feel impossible. Sugar Club opens every night of the week, and Monday is one of our favourites. Doors open at 7 pm and the music runs until 3 pm. You’ll find us on the first floor of Montreal Barsha Hotel, 23rd Street, Al Barsha 1, a few minutes from Mall of the Emirates. If you’re searching “night club near me open now” anywhere in Al Barsha, Barsha Heights, Al Quoz or Media City, we are probably the closest one with a dance floor.
This Monday's offer
Monday Madness is built around one simple idea: a great night shouldn’t cost a weekend price. Every Monday we run a drinks and shisha deal . Shisha comes in classic and fruit flavours, freshly prepared at your table. Mocktails and soft drinks are always available. It is the easiest way to try Sugar Club for the first time, and the reason many people who come once on a Monday come back every week.
This Monday we’re opening the guest list to new faces. Send a WhatsApp to +971 52 511 3138 with your name, the number of people and “Monday Madness”, and we’ll add you to the list [confirm: what the guest list includes, for example free entry, a welcome drink or a priority table before a set time]. Coming alone, as a couple or with ten friends, it doesn’t matter. First-timers are exactly who Monday Madness is for.
Monday is a mixed night, so the DJ reads the room. Expect chart hits, hip hop and R&B, Arabic favorites, Afrobeats, and the club anthems everyone knows the words to. The night starts relaxed in the lounge, with conversation and shisha, then the tempo climbs after 11 pm, and the dance floor takes over. Got a song you need to hear? Ask the DJ.
Half of Dubai doesn’t work Monday to Friday. Hotel and restaurant teams, cabin crew, retail staff, nurses, salon teams, real estate agents and anyone on shifts often have their days off midweek. When your weekend starts on a Monday, you deserve a proper night out, not an empty bar. Monday Madness is made for you, and you’ll meet plenty of people on the same schedule.
You could go to the cinema, have dinner at the mall or sit at a hotel bar with background music. Or you could have all of that energy in one place: dinner nearby at Mall of the Emirates, then a short walk or taxi to Sugar Club for drinks, shisha and a dance floor. No queues, easy tables, friendly door team and a crowd that’s out for the same reason you are.
Sugar Club is in Al Barsha 1, right in the middle of new Dubai, which makes Monday Madness one of the easiest nights to reach from both sides of the city. Times below are approximate taxi times at night.

From Al Barsha 1, 2 and 3, Barsha Heights and Al Quoz: you are our neighbours. Monday Madness is a five to ten minute ride away, so there’s no reason to stay in.
From Dubai Marina, Media City, the Meadows and Palm Jumeirah: skip the crowded Marina bars and the beach club prices. Sheikh Zayed Road gets you to Al Barsha in about 15 minutes.
From Business Bay, Downtown, Al Safa and Jumeirah: the Red Line runs directly from Business Bay and Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall stations to Mall of the Emirates, or take a 20-minute taxi down Sheikh Zayed Road.
From Oud Metha and Al Jaddaf: Oud Metha and Al Jadaf stations are on the Green Line; change to the Red Line at BurJuman, or take a taxi straight down Sheikh Zayed Road.
Landing at DXB or staying near the airport on a Monday? Drop your bags and come straight over. It’s about 25 minutes by taxi, and the Red Line from the airport terminals runs directly to Mall of the Emirates.
On a Saturday you fight for a table. On a Monday you choose one. Reserve a table and you get a host, bottle service or the drinks deal, shisha and a clear view of the dance floor, with a lower minimum spend than the weekend [confirm: Monday minimum spend]. See VIP table booking in Dubai, or just send us a WhatsApp.
A birthday that lands on a Monday is no reason to wait for the weekend. Book a table, bring your cake and we’ll arrange the shout-out from the DJ booth. Our birthday party venue in Dubai page explains how it works, and Monday is the best-value night to do it.
Not ready to dance yet? Our shisha lounge in Al Barsha is open from the start of the night, with comfortable seating and music at a level where you can still talk. Many Monday groups spend the first hour here before moving to the dance floor.
Monday is just the start. Tuesday is ladies night with free cocktails and shisha for ladies, Wednesday is hip hop and R&B, Thursday to Saturday are Arabic nights, and Sunday is Afrobeats. See the full weekly line-up on What's On, or find your area’s guide on nightlife near me.
